As the Falcon, Wilson uses mechanical wings to fly, and has been equipped with various weaponry by his friend and ally, the Black Panther. A former special operations airman, Wilson was recruited by Rogers to become his partner after Rogers discovered that Wilson possessed an extrasensory ability to communicate with birds. Originally known as Falcon, Wilson is a close friend and confidant of Steve Rogers / Captain America, and a member of the Avengers.
